Climb lookout mountain, hiking, canoeing, and Asheville is only about 25 minutes away, which is a big town.

You have to be creative and open minded. This isn't a bar hopping/club scene, although there's Asheville if you want that. If you like the outdoors, Christian activity, and just become accepting of random activities you will love it.

For fun, one could enjoy a hike or a walk around Montreat's scenic campus. The Belk building offers 24-hour computer usage, a pool table, foosball table, and theatre-looking lounge area for movies and games. Asheville is a short drive away too for many more options.
