    With a wide selection of sports teams, clubs, and multicultural activity days, Moorpark provides each student with their own way to enjoy college life. One of the best parts of the school is their infamous Speech and Debate team. Each year, the team puts on a Night Before Nationals performance in the theater- Don't miss it! You will soon be doubled over with laughter at the comedic skill these students possess.

    There's always something fun going on at Moorpark, most notably is probably the on campus teaching zoo, which is open to the public on weekends. On weekdays, clubs and activities are available on campus, and private vendors often set up booths near the student center for shopping breaks between classes.

    There are a few bowling places, and some movie theaters (even a discount theater in Santa Maria). There are also some really great hiking trails in multiple locations, that are really awesome. LA is not too far, and Malibu beach is about 30-45 min away.

    At Moorpark there is a fun and interactive zoo whose staff are local students. Also there a wide array of clubs and programs that are year round. Golf ,soccer, and baseball are just a few of the many sports Moorpark offers for a fun change of pace.
