Rec center is the place to hang

There are plenty of things to do for fun on campus that do not cost anything you just have to look. Every once and a while the planetarium host's a light laser light show and all of the shows have been spectacular. There is also a lake located on campus with plenty of trails to walk or ride bikes on.

There are hiking trails, a bowling alley, theater, campus events and shows, music festivals nearly weekly, sports games and plenty of restaurants/shops in the area.

I like being with my kids. I also enjoy my job, rock climbing, sports, and gardening.

Go into town

I commute to class everyday. 45 minute's to be exact. What I do for fun is spend time with my 6 month old.

State of the art Recreation Center offers many activities. Also, Cave Run Lake is close by too.

There are so many student organizations on campus that it is almost impossible not to be a part of one. I am personally a part of the MSU marching band, which is really my idea of fun, but, if you want to go out and just have fun there's Mt Sterling 30 min away and Ashland which is about an hour which are full of random things to do. Or if you wanna stay on campus, if you check with your RA's they always have cool stuff planned.

Morehead, Kentucky has a variety of fun things to do. Going to the movies or going shopping are only a few things you can do off campus. If you want to stay on campus however you can attend all sporting events free with your student I.D. or go to a forum hosted by professors. MSU offers activities for all.
