    Get involved in whatever clubs interest you- take a risk! You might find it more worthwhile than you could have imagined. Go to office hours and make a concerted effort to get to know your professors as much as you can. It pays of in the long-run classroom experience.

    I would visit the school and do an overnight. Especially if you are thinking about playing sports. Also, go talk to people, do not be scared of the big scary college students we all remember when we visited and how scared and intimidated we were. Sit in on more than one class to really get a feel for the classroom dynamics. Explore the beautiful campus, walk from the green to the botanical garden and up around the lake and even to the equestrian center.
