Compared to a larger university, MSU doesn't have a lot to choose from that will accept meal plans. You have Winslow's cafeteria and the Thoroughbread Cafeteria. Both are good, but I prefer Winslow's. At Winslow's you have the morning menu, lunch menu, dinner menu, and after hours menu, which has a combination of food from lunch and dinner.

Winslow is the main cafeteria on campus, its right by all the dorms. The food isn't that bad. They serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late night (fries, pizza, cinnamon sticks, cheese sticks, nachos, chicken nuggets, ect.) and is open until 11 p.m. on week nights. Their is also the food truck, Dunkers Deli and Starbucks in the Curris Center (across the bridge by all the classes) and Harts Caf© which has smoothies and stuff. Off campus their are the main restaurants like Applebee's, Cracker Barrel, Culvers, ect. Their is also a couple unique restaurants in Murray.

The school has nice facility for food and dining. Winslow, which is the most popular dining hall, has decent food and facility. There are also another places students can visit. Like, T-Room or Dunker's Deli.

Winslow Dining Hall and the Thoroughbred Room provide some of the finest dining I've had from any school I've ever visited. There are many options every day, and you can find something for you even if you have specific dietary needs or allergies (i.e. a vegan diet, a peanut allergy, etc.). The dining staff do a great job taking care of students. Dining is also a great option for student employment, with half of the staff being made up of student workers.

Sorority and fraternity life provides excellent opportunities for college students to find a home away from home, develop social and leadership skills, and enhance academics. Approximately 12% of the Murray State University student body belongs to a Greek sorority or fraternity

Greek life is evident on campus, I am not in one, but my friends who are all take is a very positive experience! You also have a lot of opportunities. But, don't think you need to be in a sorority or fraternity to be involved, fit in, or be cool or go to parties or anything. That was my impression before I went to college, and now my view is the opposite!

Greek life is incredible here at MSU along with unique. We pride ourselves on Greek unity. You will constantly see girls from different sororities interacting in a positive way, most being close friends. Fraternities are caught bonding all of the time on campus. So many opportunities present themselves through Greek life, not just on campus but after you graduate. Life long connections are made.

I am in a sorority on campus and it has been the best decision I have made. It is a great way to meet new people and to get involved on campus and within the community.
