I like being on campus, because I am always learning something new about myself and the community I live in, as well as the Navajo Dealing with the school.

    Am learning a lot

Have learned plenty of hands on training and haved learned a lot more aside from books, you have to find your right teachers and staff to assist your guidance of your trade, skill, and/or degree.

    Campus Safety

Campus is always safe. We have a zero tolerance for drugs and alcohol. We even security monitoring everything on campus ensuring that students and staff are on a safe campus.

    Greek Life

I don't know about the Greek life but I think that would be a great addition to Navajo tech.

    Clubs and Activities

We have interesting clubs like anime club, pre vet club, and gaming club. these three are the ones that I'm trying to join so we have a lot more to offer than just these three. Lots of clubs trust me.

Great for these types of students

I would say the Navajo studies would be a great program if you want to learn more about the Navajos and what we went through in history. Or if you want to know how to make pottery or anything else, maybe some traditional stories I highly suggest you take Navajo studies our instructor Mitchell Blackhorse who come from Shiprock New Mexico is highly experienced and knows what he's talking about so he would be happy to assist you in any way needed as possible!

Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus

Um we have none of the sort that are unusual or strange. Navajo tech is a very good campus that is open to anybody so we pretty much don't discriminate. we are very open!

    Bang for the buck

Navajo Tech is very affordable only paying close to about 7000$ to 10,000$. Yeah I say that is very affordable for any university. So come take a look at Navajo Tech anytime!

    What to do for fun

We offer lots of things to do like Skills USA. And sports programs like rodeo, basketball, cross country, etc. Did I mention we also offer archery?

    Food and Dining

The food here at Navajo Tech is great! The cookers are Navajos but they have good hands on training with their culinary arts so they are really experienced plus we have a lot of cooks that serve very good delicious plates so I invite you try out the food sometimes. Here at Navajo tech food is very affordable only 7$ a plate and they stuff you till your very full so it just isn't one tiny plate.

    Dorm Life

I really don't know much about the dorm life because I'm a local who goes to this community college or university. But on the real the dorms are really nice I had a friend that let me in his dorm room because I wanted to see what it looked like and it was beyond nice! It fits only two but they are really nice.

    Academic Rigor

The academics here are very helpful because they have lots and lots of different programs of majors for you that are offered! From Computers to Construction to Nursing etc. This college or university has lots to offer for Native Americans or other people of different ethnicity's that want to try a hands on technical college or university that is more affordable. So I would highly recommend this college.

    Tips for prospective students

My tips are to stay in school, don't slack off because once you fall behind there's no turning back, once your in school stay in school! I don't mean to sound like a parent but its very important no matter what to be in school for the gates of opportunity to open for you. So also don't procrastinate because that can also catch up with you when you aren't keeping up on your studies, last but not least the most important is to be in the right crowd don't hang out around with the thugs and gangs on campus because they can really get you into some trouble by doing marijuana an alcohol so stay away from them, don't party, and most definitely do not drink an drive!!

    In three sentences

well I would highly recommend Navajo technical college. Because it is now going through a name change to a university now. So you have high expectations for almost everything you do.
