    I wouldn't buy my books from the bookstore but that is at any college. Just call them and ask them what books your class will be using and if you know if the teacher uses them. The people who work in the bookstore know about the teachers because some of them are taking classes there. One more thing to do is to ask about the teachers before you choose your classes, but don't just ask one person ask several random people if you have to.
