Nebraska Indian Community College is a 2-year tribal college with three campuses encompassing the Omaha Tribe and Santee Sioux reservations. NICC offers eight associate degrees as well as a certificate-granting program in Carpentry. As a tribal institution, NICC features a Native American Studies program with concentrations in Traditional Culture and Contemporary Tribal Leadership. In addition to its academic offerings, NICC is home to campus radio station KZYK featuring tribal news, Dakota language broadcasting, and the Native Voice One program.
