Neumont is a very practical university which has instructors with real-world experience, not just theory. As well as the excellent instructors, Neumont offers hands-on learning as opposed to the traditional long lectures. Its instructors also take time out of their day to make sure you understand the material and are always there if you don't.

Neumont is a great school if you want to get your foot in the door of the Computer Industry, the last year is spent working for actual companies and many students receive job offers from those companies if they preform well. The job placement rate is close to 100% if you graduate with average starting salary around 50k. They teach you in a way that will help you go straight into the industry without a lot of re-training by the company you end up working for.

The size of the University is to the point where Faculty and your fellow students are nearly always on hand to talk on a one-on-one basis on any subject, academic or otherwise. The instruction environment focuses on you, the student, taking charge of your own education and learning not just the material, but how to continue to learn in a fast-paced, rapidly improving industry. At Neumont, one simply does not earn a degree, but rather begins to build a career.

Neumont is great for the tech field-seeking student. You'll be working in a team environment with like-minded colleagues and invested teachers. The workload gets heavy but are very well worth it given their graduate's average starting salary and high employment rate. ($62K and 96% as of 2012)

Neumont has a well-defined community. Has the goal of getting you a job after graduation. And has some of the best teachers in the state.

Course is hands-on and the instructors are very helpful. The campus is not too big. The staff is very nice and always willing to help.
