Categories Comments What to do for fun I entertain family and friends which adds hours of fun to my life.
Food and Dining NMSU-C does not offer food. There are food establishments within minutes of the University.
Dorm Life NMSU-C does not offer dorm living.
Tips for prospective students When choosing a 2 year college to attend do not over look New Mexico State University of Carlsbad New Mexico. NMSU-C employs professors that enjoy teaching students in several courses and helping students to succeed. NMSU-C's tuition is affordable and the student aid office and counselors are always willing to help.
In three sentences I rate NMSU-C as a high class 2 year college. NMSU-C is full of well veresed and amazing instructors. NMSU-C instructor take pride in their students which instills values and encourages students to strive to do well.

Categories Comments Bang for the buck Tuition and fees aren't expensive. Depending on what courses you require you will get a good learning experience out of this college and not so much a waste of money.
Food and Dining No food and dining available here.
Dorm Life There are no dorms for it's a community college.
Academic Rigor A lot of the professor's are great and it's a very one on one environment.
Tips for prospective students Know what classes you want and are required. The adviser's aren't always helpful and you could end up taking a class that you didn't need.

Categories Comments What to do for fun I don't want to sound like I am bashing my school but there really isn't much to do. Maybe around town you might want to go check out the recreational center, or maybe check out the Carlsbad caverns.
Food and Dining There really isn't much you can do at New Mexico State University-Carlsbad. On the college campus you can go to the book store and find a snack or something when your hungry but that's about it. If you go around town then your options for food get bigger.
Dorm Life Sadly since New Mexico State University-Carlsbad is a community college no dorms are to be available. I was looking forward to the college dorm life too. But independent housing is available, the college isn't far from town so there should be no trouble getting to class on time.
Academic Rigor This is my first time going to college and what can say is that when I found myself paying actual attention I began to learn. Once you focus on your studies it gets a lot easier. Trust me if I can do it you can do it too.
Tips for prospective students Here's some tips to succeed in New Mexico State University-Carlsbad, paying attention. Paying attention in class will determine what you learn and what you don't want to learn. It is very critical that when you go to class that you're the mentally like you are physically. Another simple tip for success is to know that you are not alone and that there is help in the team center waiting for you. The team center is a place where college professionals are available to help when you feel stuck or feel that you don't understand something. Follow those tips and success will be in your near future.
In three sentences New Mexico State University-Carlsbad is a community college which offers a two year college program. The campus is very smal but the employeed teachers make up for that. The faculty staff is very generous and they are always available to help you when you are in need of assistance.
