It's a great college and being in New York City provides many unique opportunities. There are almost no frat parties or sports events so weekends usually consist of going to apartment parties, concerts and bars/clubs or doing anything else imaginable in the city. As I have never lived in the city, New York City was an abrupt change. At first seemingly overwhelming, after a week I began to appreciate the diversity and opportunities provided in the area. Walking across the street to study in Washington Square Park, working among students in coffee shops, and listening to jazz bands playing down the street are only a few reasons that I value NYU as an overall learning experience. NYU not only provides a great education, but it also provides a growing experience for its students.

I am in love with this city!!! The big perk about going to NYU is that you are smack dab in the middle of Greenwich Village, NYC. There's so much to do here. I feel like I don't have enough time to do everything I want to do here. I couldn't have chosen a better location for a college.

Let's be real...if I wasn't happy here, then I would have transferred out. Just about every person I have met here is accepting of me and my unique personality. The professors, for the most part, are fun to chat with and are extremely knowledgeable about their fields of study. Also, you are living in the greatest city in the world. There is not much else to say!
