    A&T is the cheapest in the NC system but you get what you pay for. Unclean classrooms, no working clocks, no working projectors.

    In state tuition is comparable to universities of the same caliber. Out of state tuition is nearly double, and all of the potential scholarships and grants barely dent tuition costs in the long term. Be prepared for several loans and cosigners, and a significant amount of time to repay post graduation. Most of the programs feel outdated, and the feeling only deepens the further one gets into one's major.
