The campus holds several events a month, from comedy, to culture sharing, to activist speakers. There are several movie theaters located near by, as well as, plenty of stores to shop at. If you are the outdoor type, there are numerous state parks within 30 miles of campus where you can hike, fish, swim, or boat.
