Around Town

There are so many beautiful hiking trails in and around Flagstaff. The Grand Canyon is only an hour or so drive away. There's the Harkins movie theater, the mall and downtown. Downtown is definitely one of the most popular things to do for fun, especially the art walk held every first friday of the month.

Join a campus club, looks great on your resume and its tons of fun!

Go downtown, go see a movie, could go on many hikes, or to the creek in Sedona which is nearby. There is much more as well!

I love that I do not have to be part of this at an extended campus.

There isn't a lot to do in Flagstaff, so I usually find an off campus get together or party on the weekends. If you are into outdoor activities, there is hiking, skiing and snowboarding in winter and also the Grand Canyon is an hour away.

This school is most definitely for the outdoorsy person.

Snowbowl is the main thing students do for fun when it snows. If we get a snow day people will go there to ski and snowboard. There's also a bowling alley, movie theater with student tickets at only $6.50, and a shopping mall. Many restaurants to go out and eat at to have a good time as well.

If your athletic, they have a huge trail that spreads for miles (I forgot the actual distance of the trail). It's great to go out there with a friend. If you're not the out doors type, they also have a movie night every so often at their campus. The movie is not cost so that wouldn't be a problem to most of us.
