The teachers that I have had for the most part have been amazing. Use upperclassman and online prof. grading sites as a resource though, because there are a few snoozers out here. If you can catch the right professor at this school, they can change your life.

Northern Arizona University has had to cut many programs that were promised to incoming students due to poor money management. The campus itself can be quite beautiful, especially after all the renovations they have been doing. Both parking services and the registrar are difficult to work with and often very rude.

NAU Extended Campuses has given me the flexibility I needed for my work schedule, while offering a variety of classes both online and in person. Not to mention the fact that I pay less and receive a great education! Classes are also way smaller than the typical university classes, which allows for more individualized teaching and attention to students.

Located in a mountainous region with four distinct yearly seasons, gets LOTS of snow in the winter, bring your winter gear! Very diverse campus population, I have run into people from my home state.

Excellent campus that creates a well integrated academic and social lifestyle. Classes are generally small and communication is better with professors. town around the campus is small, but in many ways caters to the university culture.

I personally love my teachers. But when is comes to things such a financial aid, you have to stay on the faculty to come through. And NAU is under construction almost constantly, and can be a pain.
