There are plenty of vending machines in each building and they are always plenty stocked, I have not had the opportunity to eat in the cafeteria yet as I am currently taking a summer evening program and it is not open as of yet.

The food can be expensive but it is good, but also you are surronded by food places just down the street.

Northern Essex Community College does not have the typical college food taste. They have fully cooked meals in the One Stop Center, vending machines with a variety of healthy foods and snacks, and a cafe, Jitters, which has breakfast foods, sandwiches, and coffee. A bonus is the reasonably priced items!

Northern Essex has a cafeteria on the second floor in the Student Center. It has a variety of foods including fruits, pizza, sandwiches, and vending machines. In the Spurk Building, there is a cafe called Jitters Cafe. You can order coffee, tea, juice, soda, water, bagels, pastries and energy bars. There is a comfortable lounge area with computers for students to study or check into the Student Online Center.
