I learned there are things to do like skiing and snowboarding, I haven't heard of any thing else.

There is always some kind of recreation going on hosted by some club, so there's always plenty to do here.

Downtown is a good place to start. There's a pottery shop, book store, and many shops. You could also go hiking, canoeing, ice fishing, snowboarding, swimming, and even see the Northern Lights!

Visit the small cafes, eat at many restaurants, view shows at the small theater, work out at the pelf with a buddy, or go play a club sport!

In the summer spring and fall there are always the beaches, hiking, camping, and canoeing. In the winter you can ski or snowboard, even sled.

Surrounding Northern, is the largest of the Great Lakes, Lake Superior. So students are able to enjoy the great nature. Northern also offer a wide variety of sport classes.
