Biking, hiking, swimming, snow activities during the winter. Ice caves, a lot of beaches. Great downtown area to shop.

There's so much to do in Marquette. There are on campus events almost everyday and if not you can go down to Lake Superior or up to Marquette Mountain. Marquette is a college town, but with a homey feel.

At Northern, there is so much to do. In the fall, there's Presque Isle, swimming in Lake Superior, jumping off of Black Rocks (Do at your own risk), etc. Any time of the year you can take a hike up Sugarloaf or Hogsback (Do at your own risk in the winter). There is a drag show you can go to, which is very popular. They have concerts every year. This semester was Rodney Atkins. Last year, they had Phillip Phillips. The one thing that I find the best is the hockey games. Hockey is big at Northern. If you don't like it when you start college, you will most likely learn to like it.

There has never been a day where I have been bored. I have gone swimming, cliff jumping, hiking, biking, to the movie theater, sledding, to the ice caves, and seen the Northern Lights.

Anything outdoors. Mountain biking, snowmobiling, skiing, snowboarding, hiking, snowshoeing, hunting, fishing. During the summer there is sailing (being located on the shores of lake superior) and any other water sport.
