The teachers are so helpful. They will come in early or stay late in their office if you can't make their hours. When you ask a question they do their best to answer it. I even had teachers who would look it up and the answer it the next class. Some teachers even remember all their students names and faces, even in the 300+ lectures. The class sizes are perfect. They're just small enough that you still can get that one on one help unlike at huge colleges. The teachers do a great job keeping students attentions, like a chemistry...

    Northern Michigan University is a beautiful place to attend college. The professors truly care and the environment is very pleasant. Any day is a great day to be a Wildcat!!

    if you're not into the big schools with 2 mile wide campuses or a school in an urban area, then I would recommend going to NMU. It's about a 10 minute walk from anywhere on campus , it's in a rural area, and you're right next to Lake Superior, which can be seen from most of Marquette. As long as you don't mind very white winters, this school is for you.

    Northern Michigan is the perfect place for me. It's located in a small town providing comfort and a community feeling in whatever you choose to do at the school. The dorms are comfortable and the people are wonderful.

    Marquette is a beautiful place. Since last I saw, it had so many trees. I grew up in Marquette, but had to move to Oklahoma.

    I think Northern is pretty cool, the environment is awesome and it's a has cool food, an awesome view of Lake Superior and for students in-state and out-of-state tuition is pretty fair!!!!

    Northern keeps up with current technology. A notebook computer is available for all full time students, and there is great internet access in surrounding areas via WiMax. As well printing, it is eco-friendly and user friendly. The computers and great internet access give students more resources for studying.
