Professor to student ratios are small, and it's easy to get help. The atmosphere at NMU is great and friendly. The campus is believe and close to the lake.

I first stepped foot on campus during my tour and immediately felt like I was home. The more I learned, the more I loved it! And Northern Naturally is more than a slogan, it's a way of life up there.

A beautiful, student involved campus. Class are challenging yet fun, and there's always something to do. Marquette is modern, yet with a rustic feeling; a place you can call home.

Northern is a place for people to discover themselves. It has plenty of resources to get you to where you want to be. Although there are some uneducated professors, the education you will get is decent.

The area around NMU is one of the most beautiful landscapes of any college town. The staff is extremely friendly and more personalized for you, allowing lots of time for one-on-one study sessions with the professor. It does get cold though, and there are long winters in the Upper Peninsula.
