Categories Comments Great for these types of students This college is excellent and perfect for students who love the Lord with all of their heart and are evidently and constantly seeking after Him to have a personal relationship with Him. And to especially those who are seeking to serve the Lord in some sort of minsitry.
Tips for prospective students Pray about this a lot and save! Even if you are a highschool freshman it is never to early to start saving up for college! It is not only a benefit to yourself but also to your parents. It will make things so much easier. A thousand dollars when thought of in the grand scheme of things in college doesn't sound like much, but it can be the deciding factor between college of your dreams and community college!
Bang for the buck Compared to most Christian colleges Northland is CHEAP!!!! And yet the academics and campus-life do not suffer because of this. Northland is definitely worth the cost! Also, if you plan on studying abroad, I'm pretty sure the tuition rates are the same so that's an extra plus!!!
Will enjoy being here If you love the Lord, YES!!!!! Within ten minutes of being on campus I saw three students randomly on their hands and knees praying. It was so cool!!! Literally everybody I met was nice and friendly. Northland also has great student activities to entertain you, which range from theater productions, skiing, ice skating, sports, tubing, sledding, snow ball fights, chapel, extensions and so much more! You'll never be bored!
Will learn a lot The teachers seemed very eager and excited to get to know you personally and teach you. Everybody seemed to be an expert in their field!!!

Categories Comments Great for these types of students Any students looking for a campus where they can be themselves in a positive manner.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus During the basketball games, they body surf students, and sometimes (if willing) faculty members. Also, summer different camps are held for younger children/teens.
Bang for the buck Northland International University is cheaper with just ask much to offer as other schools
What to do for fun NIU has tons of options for fun. We have a mini-golfing area, water slides for the lakes that are here, sand volleyball area, multiple basketball courts, a rock climbing area, a zip-line area, and numerous events that occur on campus.
Food and Dining The dining hall has been excellent. There is a variety of choices, the food is well cooked, very healthy, and that is with all three courses.
Dorm Life They have the dorms are cool. Four to each room and there is a main lobby where everyone can just relax together after a long day. Everyone on the hall gets along well.
Academic Rigor They have a variety of great majors to choose from. The teachers are definitely passionate about what they teach. They engage you in such a way that you feel odd when NOT participating.
Tips for prospective students I would suggest taking a serious look at this school. There are so many doors and avenues that come with choosing this school.
In three sentences Northland International University is an outstanding school. The atmosphere here is unlike any school I've experienced. The students, faculty, and programs just promote positivity, love, and excellence.
