Most Helpful Review for Northwestern University

If you can to learn, you will. The professors don't spoon-feed information - instead, they give you the tools to learn the subjects yourself. Also, just hanging out with people (students, and sometimes students hang out with professors) helps you learn; generally, the students here are smart, and so casual conversation topics sometimes teach just as much as a class lecture.

Northwestern had everything I was looking for in a college: world-class academics, college pride, a large open campus, and great location near an awesome city. One of my problems in high school is that there aren't enough periods and not enough time to take all of the classes in which I am interested, so NU's quarter system seems perfect for me. I hope I am accepted and would love to be a Wildcat!

The school constantly hold programs, meetings and workshops to excel the success of their students in the real world and the very knowledgeable teaches care for every individual student. They make themselves available whenever a student needs it, and help as much as they can.

Northwestern is great academically and all of the professors I have had here have been engaged and interested in teaching. The social life on North campus is heavily frat-centered, despite what people may try to tell you, however, there are other ways to have a good social life like joining clubs, going to the gyms, and meeting people in classes. Evanston is a decent town and going into Chicago is great if you make the time to do it occasionally.
