Oakland Community College is a great starting school if you plan on transferring out they have many programs here. If you don't plan on transferring and just want to get an Associate degree this would be the place for you. Never have I seen a place so diverse in programs.

The school itself is top notch, professors care about you and do everything they can to help. Tutoring opportunities are plentiful, as well as supplemental instruction.
