In three sentences It is a small school but the staff is very helpful and you can get that one on one high school experience in college. They have many special events and most teachers give extra credit for attending. The professors are understanding but still expect your best.

Tips for prospective students Make use of the tutoring services there. It is free to students and the totors are knowledgable.
In three sentences It is a great college for a small community. Economically it is a a smart choice. The tuition rates are reasonable and the instructors are personable and show a caring attitide.

Categories Comments Campus Safety I've never had to use campus security, but from people I know that have, they're alive and well today!
Greek Life Phi Theta Kappa is about as Greek as it gets when it comes to Odessa College. It's the official honor society that Odessa College uses.
Clubs and Activities There are organizations such as acapella choir, band, cheerleading, and theater. There's something to suit most interests.
Great for these types of students Recent high-school graduates looking to transfer to a larger, four-year university.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus Even if the semester hasn't started, make sure you get your schedule right the first time. You will be charged an outrageous amount just to change your schedule for any reason at any time.
Bang for the buck Great education for what little money that you do pay. I'm excelling in all subjects because of the great teachers I've had.
What to do for fun Join an organization that interests you. Choir or Basketball might be interesting and provide you with a hobby so that you have something to do.
Food and Dining The cafeteria on campus has adequate food at an acceptable level. But it's just that: a cafeteria, not a dining hall. Coffee shop is great too!
Dorm Life Dorm life seems sufficient for this campus. The dorms are apartment-esque.
Academic Rigor Academic basics are a little bit of a challenge, but it is VERY possible to get As in your basics courses.
Tips for prospective students Odessa College has greatly helped me understand what it means to be a college student. Despite it being a community college, it helps introduce a new learning system and style into your life. Don't be afraid to go for it!
In three sentences Odessa College, despite being a community college, provides a warm, welcoming environment. The instructors are very understanding towards your learning needs and provide appropriate accommodations as needed. Overall, I would say that Odessa College is a fine choice for those who want to take the first step in their college education!

Categories Comments Food and Dining I eat at school like twice a week. The foods great! And so is the staff! their very nice and polite!
Dorm Life I don't have a dorm, so i couldn't actually tell. But the people i hear do have one say their pretty nice and the foods great! And its really affordable.
Academic Rigor The teachers are amazing! They actually care about their students and enjoy being in class. You can tell they will do anything to help you succeed.
Tips for prospective students The school might seem huge, but its all in the head!
In three sentences Odessa College is a great school! Iv never felt so comfortable and at home. Everyone is so nice!
