Categories Comments Campus Safety there is a police officer on campus during all class hours!
Clubs and Activities marion offers many clubs, outdoors, sports etc.
Great for these types of students students that are looking to get a degree without spending a lot of money or students that are looking for college classes that are not extremely hard, this is the place to go!
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus 5 minutes before every class, carmen ohio plays on the bell tower! many events for students take place throughout the year such as free pizza and game week events.
Bang for the buck marion campus tuition is on average $12000 cheaper for a freshman student! its a great option if you want to save major money.
What to do for fun marion is not exactly the most exciting place to be....but it is only 45 minutes from columbus!!
Food and Dining there are many places to eat that are on the same street as the univeristy. subway donatos chipolte taco bell and several others that are quick and easy to grab.
Dorm Life marion currently does not have student dorms.
Academic Rigor free english tutors and math tutors are available everyday. teachers are willing to meet before or after class anytime a student needs help.
Tips for prospective students meet as many people as you can, especially if you plan to transfer to main campus in columbus. the more you meet, the more fun you will have at the branch.
In three sentences the campus is very clean and fairly small. you get to know people on a first name basis as many of the students are in several of your classes. the teachers learn names as there is usually only about 20 students per class.

Categories Comments Campus Safety OSU-Marion, apart from the Main campus alerts, provided very specific details about an indecent. They were very caring about their students so they sent out email alerts whenever anything occurred on campus to keep the students aware.
What to do for fun Marion is a pretty small town. I didn't spend much time there.
Food and Dining There are only vending machines, but many restaurants around campus.
Dorm Life There is no living on OSU-Marion
Academic Rigor I was only taking GECs at OSU-Marion
Tips for prospective students If you're not ready for the Main campus, which is very large, try starting out at a branch and then transfer to Main. The Professors are more likely to know your name on a smaller campus, providing you with a more intimate college experience. Also, make sure you find that one professor that you can count on to give you good advice, apart from your advisor. It will benefit you in the future.
In three sentences The biggest thing that struck out to me about Marion Campus was how friendly everyone is. I enjoyed the environment. Professors were also very welcoming and eager to help.

Clubs and Activities They have a wide variety of clubs to satisfy most everyone's interests and if not, you can make your own!
Great for these types of students Great for students who want a small, personal campus.
What to do for fun The Ohio State is always throwing something to do almost ever two weeks. Either little contests or even rock wall climbing. They provide coffee and doughnuts during finals week and have work out classes to join. Flyer's are all around the campus for things to do that weekend!
Food and Dining The campus bookstore provides snacks and drinks for in between classes. Local food is just down the road.
Dorm Life No housing is provided
Tips for prospective students Get to know your class-mates because they will be like your family for the semester for any questions or to build study groups. Don't be afraid to approach your professor, they have always been willing to stop and talk. Never get discouraged and stay involved with what is going on around campus.
In three sentences It is a small but very close knit campus including not only the students but the professors. You are always able to receive fast and helpful information when needed at anytime. The campus clean and the professors always have open office hours for students to discuss any homework problems or anything about the class.

Tips for prospective students Talk with your advisor often. Do not be afraid to get a tutor if it will help you. Try your very best.

Categories Comments Tips for prospective students The opportunities are not as bounteous as those on the main campus there are still plenty of ways to get involved in the university. Take advantage of every academic or social advantages you as possibly can.
In three sentences Ohio State Marion is a small campus university, but that is not a bad thing. Professors have flexible hours, so students are able to create a rapport with the professors and this allows students to attain more personal time. Outside class there are plenty of opportunities to get involved with the university, like groups and clubs.

What to do for fun The Marion campus offers many different clubs for students to be apart of. The campus also includes a beautiful landscape which often provides students with the opportunity to play sports. This campus is also located close to a shopping center.
Food and Dining There are plenty of options for food located around the Marion campus.
Dorm Life Although their is dorming on the OSU Main campus, that is not the case at the Marion campus.
Academic Rigor Not only are the professors interested in teaching and lecturing, but they are also interested in the research concerning what they teach so this campus offers the best of both worlds.
Tips for prospective students I suggest that students make the most of their time in college by staying active in class and in the variety of clubs offered at the Marion campus.
In three sentences The Ohio State University at Marion is an exceptional choice for students looking to get the most out of their college career. There are a variety of classes that can be taken which is very helpful. As with the variety of classes there are a variety of professors at this campus who are more than willing to help their students succeed.

Bang for the buck There price for this college is amazing, it's cheap enough so everyone can afford and you still get the same education as if you were at main campus.
What to do for fun There really isn't much to do besides play basketball/volleyball, lift in the weight room or play on our new disc golf course.
Food and Dining The only food on campus is in vending machines so if you want to eat you will have to leave campus and find something or pack your own lunch/dinner.
Dorm Life There are no dorms at this campus so there is no dorm life.
Academic Rigor The teachers are always willing to help you out and to make you a more accomplished college student
In three sentences Very good school and the teachers are always willing to help the students out. Good way to get your OSU experience going. There just nothing to do on campus so it gets boring really fast.
