    Be proactive with your financial aid work! Apply for scholarships, day in and day out. Additionally, contact the school whenever you're concerned about anything. Make them remember your name!

    Take a visit to the campus, or even two! Ohio University offers two different types of programs for prospective students; one in the fall for all prospective students, and one in the spring for accepted applicants who already know they are going to attend Ohio U or are still weighing their options. These are definitely the best opportunities to tour the campus, meet with faculty of your college of interest, and meet with other students who are just as excited about seeing Athens as you are!

    Ohio University is seen as one of the biggest party schools in the entire country, so while it is fun to go out with friends, do not get too involved with partying. An education is the reason you are there, so if you plan to party a bunch, then plan on becoming very familiar with the library. Do your work during the week, and have fun on the weekends. Bobcats really do work hard, and play harder.
