Tips for prospective students if you need any help finding any thing out about the school talk to the faculty they are really respectful and nice

Categories Comments Campus Safety They have an excellent security department. They are available to walk you to the car and continuously monitor the parking area.
Great for these types of students For students who want to complete their studies with a 2yr period.
Bang for the buck This college is centrally located and easy to find. There is plenty of parking and excellent lighting. The cost of attending is comparable to other colleges.
What to do for fun They have a variety of clubs and organizations here.
Food and Dining They have vending machines in various places.
Dorm Life This is not applicable at this college.
Academic Rigor The college has a fairly rigorous courses. The pace is a good steady one for a new college student.
Tips for prospective students Complete your FASFA early. Apply and begin researching your classes early. Register for the classes you want on the first day of registration.
In three sentences This is an outstanding facility. The instructors are knowledgeable and friendly. The courses offered here are flexible with schedules.

Categories Comments Campus Safety There are many security guards on and off duty, so if there is ever any question, they give you the number to program into your phone. They also have nifty little blue lights that you can stand by to get the security guards to take you to your vehicle.
Clubs and Activities Skills USA
Great for these types of students OTC is a great facility for those students with kids, families, and jobs. As long as you prove to the professors that you are willing to do what it takes to pass, you will be fine.
Bang for the buck I began at OTC as a Sophomore in High School, therefore I didn't have to spend a dime on tuition.
What to do for fun The fun part about OTC is that there are a lot of familiar faces. People from all around town attend. Going out for lunch and chilling between classes keeps your head in the game.
Food and Dining There are vending machines and snack areas all throughout the campus. Athough, this is a technical college, not an University.
Dorm Life There is no dorm at OTC. Normally students live close to the facility.
Academic Rigor As long as you do your homework and study, you will have no problem making A's. The students and faculty there will help you along and along. Again, all you have to do is ask.
Tips for prospective students Make sure, when you take the entrance exam, you use everything you know. If you don't, you will end up in a class, bored to death because you already know the material.
In three sentences Okefenokee Technical College is a great school. The staff is friendly. They are very helpful, all you have to do is ask. This is not the ideal college to go off to, but keep in mind, everyone has to start somewhere.

Categories Comments Bang for the buck definitely a great value for your money and the enrollment and financial aid offices really work with you to make sure that you are in the right program of choice for you as well as making sure you are getting all the aid you qualify for
What to do for fun Free Wifi and the close proximity to everything in town makes it easy to find something to do during any down time you may have
Food and Dining there is no on campus food/dining
Dorm Life there is no on campus housing
Academic Rigor I am currently taking the Networking Specialist program and even though I have been in the field for 10 years I still find the curriculum very challenging, which is a good thing, because when I graduate I feel I will be ahead of the curve
Tips for prospective students make sure you start the enrollment process as soon as possible ( like the first day open enrollment starts) to make sure that you can get all the paperwork filled out properly and all the financial aid stuff applied for, especially if you have to take the Compass ACT exam
In three sentences Solid Curriculum offerings and a faculty/staff that are caring, dedicated, and experienced in their field of teaching, make OTC an ideal place to further your education.
