OBU is one of the best universities of its kind because the courses challenge students to achieve new hieghts of learning. Successes at OBU requires hard work and dedication, but is worth it. Find time to get involved on campus.

Study hard, stay out of the mud, look both ways before crossing the streets. Figure out where classes will be held so you won't get confused the day you start classes. Make lots of friends and get involved in campus life as much as possible.

Students coming in to OBU should try to do as much as they can freshman year in regards to activities and getting tons of chapel credits. Do not take 8:00 AM classes unless you have to!

Do not simply look at the price of the school and give up! I thought I would never be able to afford any private univerisities, but I was showed wrong. I am from lower-middle class family and I am thankfully able to attend OBU thanks to scholarships! Don't give up!
