Around Town

Lots of activities, clubs, and athletics. Don't just watch sports but join an intramural league.

The strip

Like in any college town we all find our ways to have fun. But a few places to try is Tumbleweed, for those 18 and over, and The Strip, for those 21 and over. Other than that there are many golf courses, parks and lakes for students to enjoy.

There are lots of clubs to join! From intramural sports to cultural clubs to LGBT community and to anime clubs. There's something for everyone.

I will strongly suggest going to the Colvin Center and find activities to do there if you're into sports and other exercises. It is much easier to find and make friends there because you all have something in common. If you're a nerd that cannot find it in you to exercise, then I suggest going around campus and find flyers for different events- they are many that are into zombie related themes.

There are plenty of activities that are available for students to partake in, from out of state to out of country they have something for everyone.

Hang out around campus, Theta pond, downtown Stillwater, or at any of the restaurants in town. Eskimo Joe's is a must do, as is the Hideaway.

Anything and Everything!

The Tumbleweed, sometimes called the Weed, is a great place to go dancing for those of you who are not 21. They always have great bands and if you love two-stepping this is just the place for you! If two-stepping is not your thing, the Weed offers another side, called The Other Side that is more of a ghetto, rap, grinding place.

Whatever you want!! Like sports? They have intramural sports in tons of different sports, even ping-pong and bad mitten. Every college on campus had different clubs that go out and do different things from trips to high ropes courses. There is always sometime for everyone
