ODU is a wonderful school to attend to if you want to be in a area that's full of city life. It's not quit like VCU but if you think VCU is too much you should definitely attend ODU. They have excellent professor and everyone who is surrounding you is easy to get alone with it's not hard to make friends.

Old Dominion is a diverse environment. It is in the middle of a very dangerous area that can easily be considered high-risk. Be prepared to work hard because with over 20,000 students, there's a lot of competition with grades.

Old Dominion University has allowed me to further my education with the help of wonderful professors who are willing to help however they can. The campus is expanding but not large enough to accommodate the amount of classes they offer. ODU does face issues with off and on-campus safety.

As a student at Old Dominion, this experience is whatever you make it. If you are the student that wants to be studying all week and partying all weekend then you should find those people to hang with. Your connections are everything here. You want to find out who the best professors are ask around. You could be looked over for a job opportunity on campus because no one knows who you are. And remember, even when you think no one is watching you, someone is always looking to see who you really are.
