There's a lot of fast food on campus which most people like, but after awhile it gets boring. The good thing is there are always lots of other restaurants in the area which give discounts to students with an ID. You really appreciated mom's cooking when you are home.

I do not take advantage of the dining hall, but have heard good things. There is a Starbucks on campus that gets a lot of business and is good quality. There are also restaurants around campus that accept the OCC student meal plan card for payment.

The food here is nice compared to other schools, the cafeteria staff also takes comments and suggestions highly and help try to improve the food and choices available. There are quesadillas, tacos, two soups to choose from, pizza, pasta, burgers, chicken tenders, chicken sandwiches, salads, wraps, paninis, fruit salad, and much much more to choose from.

Multiple places to get food but one main dinning room. Restrictions on what is meal plan and what are not is a little absurd.

The food has its ups and downs. If you don't have a meal plan than food is very pricey. That being said there is some food on certain days that taste great, and on other days that taste god awful. Generally it's not too healthy for you either. It does have good moments though when they have some sort of ethnic foods week. They seem to put more effort into those foods over the everyday usual fare.
