Classes can become full very quickly. Do not give up trying to get into classes and utilize the waitlist system. When you are on the waitlist for a class check your student email EVERY DAY. I have had the unfortunate experience of being dropped twice from classes I got into because I didn't check my email often enough. Even if the waitlist is full, trying petitioning classes by going on the first day, even first two weeks to see if the teacher will add you into the class. Some teachers will let many people in and some won't, It all depends on the teacher.
