Depending what you want to Major in or what your course is there are some teachers that are great and some that arent as great. I suggest you use ratemyprofessor.com before actually signing up for a class. Other than that most of the teachers hear at OCC seems to be great, but you just got to land on the right teacher.

Orange Coast College has been a great place to go to school because they offer excellent two year degree and certificate programs. Also because the cost is very inexpensive, roughly $2000 per year including books(averaging 15 units per semester). I would give OCC a 9 out of 10.

I love the location here, and everyone is pretty friendly. The campus is condensed so you don't need to walk 3 miles to get to class. The Library and fitness buildings are very nice.

I have had an overall good experience at Orange Coast College. The relatively inexpensiveness of attending vs a Cal State or University makes it so much easier to be able to attend the first few years of college. Although the classes are full and waitlisting is not my favorite I enjoyed my overall experience here.

the college is extremely diverse in terms of culture, and educational opportunities. For the school also offers many certification degrees for any incoming student, even international students. Also, the school offers a success center for students who struggle a specific subject.

I believe this school is great for students who cannot pay to go straight to a four year university. However, if you know your major and can take out student loans, I suggest avoiding this college as much as possible. It is so easy to get stuck at this school for four years.
