Categories Comments Campus Safety This school is small and very safe.
Clubs and Activities I just started last term and am not aware of the clubs this school offers.
Great for these types of students great place to attend school if you like the outdoors and enjoy cold snowy winter months.
Food and Dining There is plenty of great restaurants near OSU.
Dorm Life There are no dorms located at this school
Tips for prospective students I was enrolled as a full time student, however I dropped a class and ended up being charged an over payment because I dropped to part time, now I owe the school money. Make sure you understand financial aid and student loan requirements before dropping classes. Its much different then going to a community college.
In three sentences After finishing my first term this summer at OSU, I am excited for fall term. I feel like the transition to OSU cascades from central Oregon community college has been easy. My adviser and the rest of staff have been friendly and helpful.

Categories Comments Food and Dining The food and dining areas are actually part of the Central Oregon Community College buildings.
Dorm Life I don't live in dorms, I am not even sure if they have any for the Cascades campus.
Academic Rigor Educating but not overwhelming.
Tips for prospective students Make sure you read and do everything that is required way before the due dates for applying. Talk to your advisor as often as possible to make sure you are taking the right courses and satisfying the most requirements in the shortest amount of time.
In three sentences Everyone is very friendly and helpful. It has a great student/staff community where everyone feels included.

Categories Comments Campus Safety Pshaw! There's nothing happening here that's not good!
Greek Life None that I know of!
Clubs and Activities Between OSU-C and COCC there is plenty to choose from!
Great for these types of students Older student attending part time and active outdoor students not in a hurry to graduate!
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus Small campus hoping to evolve into a full 4 year school!
Bang for the buck Like I said, be prepared to be patient. The trade off of location is worth it, but only if you like the high desert!
What to do for fun Here is where we excel! An awesome place to live and play. All kinds of outdoor summer activities and awesome winter sports!
Food and Dining It's edible.
Dorm Life No true dorms for the OSU Cascades campus. The partner school COCC has them...
Academic Rigor We're trying to grow up!
Tips for prospective students Be prepared to spend a little more than 2+2 (4 years). Class offerings aren't always there, so it can be frustrating.
In three sentences A school with a long term vision that is still waiting to grow up. Trying to meet the needs of students, but not quite there. We'll be there soon!
