Around Town

There are a TON of clubs to get involved in, not matter what your interests are; and if there isn't a club that you want, you can make your own club. There are plenty of sports and inter-murals, including the Equestrian Team (guess what I do? haha)

If you have a car, you're basically set. There's lots to do off of campus, just because Polaris, Easton, and downtown Columbus are all within a close distance. If you don't have a car, someone you know is bound to!

I am a commuter so I stay to myself at homes (music, video games, etc). But on campus, to be honest, there isn't much to do in Westerville. If you want to have a good time, own a car (or get a friend who does) and drive to Columbus (basically OSU area). I feel weird throwing OSU into the mix in an Otterbein review, but seriously, that's where all the fun happens. Concerts, clubs, festivals, shops, Gallery Hop, Zombie Walk, Comfest, Columbus Arts Festival, Rock on the Range, bars, ice skating, fine dining, everything.

There is lots to do in Westerville. Downtown Westerville is one block away, we also have parks close, and clubs and organization to get involved in on campus. Volunteering is also huge here at Otterbein.

It's not far from Columbus, where there is plenty to do.

Columbus, OH is a short drive away which provides access to many bars, concerts, sports games, etc. There are ice rinks, ski hills, malls, and many other things to do within short driving distance. Uptown Westerville has restaurants and shops and is within easy walking distance. Otterbein staff plan activities for students to do as well.

There are many different activities to do both on and off campus. There are numerous clubs and organizations that can occupy time on campus. There are also many places around campus to have fun, including the Columbus Zoo, a laser tag facility, and Polaris Mall.

Since Otterbein is conveniently located right between Polaris and Easton Shopping Plazas, there is tons to do in the area!
