The small class sizes and individual attention from one's professor (as opposed to a graduate assistant as is the case at most large schools) sets students up for success. It's impossible to just blend in during a class.

Otterbein University is a small, suburban school located in beautiful Westerville, Ohio. Otterbein offers students a comfortable atmosphere with many opportunities. The faculty/staff of Otterbein are respectful of students and recognize students for academic and/or athletic achievements.

A fantastic small university that gives a good balance between liberal arts and science majors. Transferring to larger schools such as OSU is difficult due to course descriptions.

Otterbein University is a small private college with total of about 3000 undergrad. The small size is perfect for students who want to be able to talk with their professors one-on-one and professors know you more personally than just by your name. Also, classes are very small, such as my largest lecture is Biology with about 60 or so students.

Otterbein's community is a diverse group of students. Both their theatre and greek like is very well known. I enjoy having such a small, close-nit community.

Otterbein is a very involved campus. There is always something going on, and ways for students to get involved. The class sizes are small, so professors know you.

Otterbein University is a small school. They treat you like an actual student instead of a number. I look forward to being a student!

Coming to Otterbein was probably the best decision I made regarding my college education. The community is close-knit, the professors are wonderful and there is a lot of extra-curricular activities to get involved with. The academics are stellar, and the school is very accommodating.

I give academics at Otterbein an 8.5/10. Professors there are great, although the school can be a bit too old fashioned, so much to the point where it isn't realistic and it sacrifices students' real-world experience. Diversity could also use a boost, and Otterbein is seeking students from outside of the country which is great, but there are plenty of worthy students in the US who Otterbein could recruit.
