The campus is also only 8 minutes away from downtown San Antonio and is near to the ViA bus, which is the public transportation offered here in San Antonio. The university is also at walking distance from various fast food restaurants. Throughout the year, the Resident Assistants in the dorm halls host a variety of free activities for the residents that include arts and crafts, socials, or food!

The University is always, ALWAYS hosting events.... Anything from open mic night to glow in the dark silent discos! Campus is only about 5 miles away from downtown, plenty of fun and free things to do downtown on your free time.

There are plenty of clubs and student organizations to join on campus and if you have transportation, you can explore downtown San Antonio.

There are a lot of fun clubs having activities on campus. Volunteering is actually fun, you get to meet new people, contribute to a good cause and forget about your own worries for a while. There's also a pretty nice work-out area in the gym as well as scheduled workout events.

There is always something happening on campus if it's a game to a social activity the residence assistants put together. Then of course there's San Antonio itself where there is always something to do.
