Categories Comments Food and Dining two separate cafeterias, and delicious meals. coffee shop as well.
Dorm Life the dorms are all super friendly, and everyone is friends with everyone else.
Academic Rigor lots of papers that you'll have to write, but there is a lot of good that comes from it.
Tips for prospective students talk to people about this place. if it isn't your perfect fit, they won't be offended. just tell your admissions counselor how you feel about everything, and speak with other students/professors.
In three sentences occ looks like a fantastic place to continue a person's studies. the spiritual side of things is also great, with chapel etc. the staff, students, and professors are all very kind and friendly.

Categories Comments Campus Safety There is one person on duty all the time, but frankly I don't think he is much of protection. There's never been a threat the campus as far as I'm aware though.
Greek Life None.
Clubs and Activities No clubs really, just sports.
Great for these types of students Students in the Christian Church who are looking to be in ministry.
Bang for the buck It's not bad price wise. You get what you pay for.
What to do for fun There are several activities(mostly athletics such as Ultimate Frisbee or basketball) around campus to keep you busy. There is also a mall and movie theatre in Joplin. You're only bored if you choose to be.
Food and Dining There is one main meal downstairs and hamburgers, pizza and subs upstairs. Sometimes the food is quite tasteless, but overall it's pretty good.
Dorm Life You will not be involved if you don't put yourself out there. There are plenty of opportunities to be involved at whatever level you would like to be.
Academic Rigor The grading scale at Ozark is much higher than most colleges. So don't be so disappointed if your 93% is a B+. You will learn a lot about the bible and have a TON of memory work.
Tips for prospective students This is a small school so if you are wanting a university feel this is not the place for you. Get involved early if you are thinking of being a part of something. You can't always have the classes you want so make sure you have a back-up plan on registration day.
In three sentences I would rate Ozark as a 6 out of 10. It is a small school and there only a ministry school. This is not the school for you if you are looking to do something other than working in the church or on the mission field.

Categories Comments Food and Dining The food at Ozark is much higher quality than some cafeteria food. They provide a variety of healthy options.
Dorm Life The dorm life is incredible! We have become a family, a sisterhood. We hold each other accountable. We carry each other's burdens. We pray together, laugh together. We share life together.
Academic Rigor Ozark is very challenging academically. Throughout the semester, there are many projects and reading assignments that take a considerable amount of time. You must do your homework! You will not stay at OCC if you do not try to earn your grades.
In three sentences Ozark Christian College is a wonderful place, full of opportunity. The professors care deeply about the students and the student body is a tight community. Ozark offers an incredible education for future world changers.

Categories Comments What to do for fun Ozark presents many opportunities for entertainment, mainly its the dorm life, school events, and missional opportunities that can be life changing and exciting.
Food and Dining the food is not too shabby, but it's not five star.. i mean, come on.. its a cafeteria.
Dorm Life Dorm life at OCC is something that you can't find anywhere else. the community that thrives within each dorm is amazing.
Academic Rigor The academics at Ozark are challenging, and keep you on your toes. being organized is a necessity here because you are taking on so many responsibilities, which can be life changing.
Tips for prospective students Do your best to take advantage of the opportunity for community. through the community of leaders in your peers and professors you will learn so much more than you could ever learn from books.
In three sentences Ozark Christian College is a place of thriving community. The professors and student leaders cultivate and environment of wisdom and missional thinking. the growth and structure to be gained from this extraordinary place is immeasurable.
