The programs are rigorous, but wonderfully small and provide many resources for help and additional learning. The homework and reading are heavy, and going the extra mile in your studies pays off.

PLU is an excellent school for academia. The campus atmosphere is beautiful and close-knit. However, it has some serious downfalls.

PLU is a friendly, welcoming school with small class sizes and a focus on students as individuals. PLU values diversity and an open mind, and as such, the staff, faculty, and student population are accepting of students of many races, backgrounds, financial situations, and sexual orientations; PLU actively promotes greater understanding of diversity in these areas. Also, PLU professors tend to be very good teachers who genuinely love what they're doing and want to help students learn all they can.

The campus is beautiful! There's a lot of interesting art displayed throughout the university grounds; I absolutely adored the amphitheater. The buildings are quite clean and lovely, the interior design was very nice.
