Categories Comments Campus Safety Never had a problem or felt unsafe although there have been reports of some incidents around the neighborhood.
Greek Life Other than the language classes...none.
Clubs and Activities There are a few but they are pretty much cliques that you are a part of or not.
Great for these types of students Liberal or progressive students seeking an MA or MDiv.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus There is the annual Quiddich matches in the quad which can be entertaining.
Bang for the buck It is expensive and there is not much aide available other than loans.
What to do for fun There are some excellent parks, trails and bike paths in the area, although the hills take some getting use to. Other than that, the normal night life I am sure exists and many students from PSR go out and have some fun. As the parent of a small child, I don't get that opportunity often.
Food and Dining Breakfast and lunch from the grill is OK but other than that, it is pretty bad.
Dorm Life I live in family housing, not a dorm so I am not able to rate this area.
Academic Rigor Some classes are more rigorous than others and some have excellent teachers while others have teachers who think they are better than everyone yet lack the ability to teach.
Tips for prospective students Use public transportation because the parking is horrible near campus. If you need ADA accommodations, learn to advocate for yourself because there is no advocate on campus!
In three sentences Liberal school with some excellent professors and some not so excellent professors. Has a wide selection of courses due to consortium of schools and agreement with Cal Berkeley. They seem to be struggling with money and therefore they have serious staffing issues.
