San Francisco has a ton of stuff to do, and it's only about an hour and a half away from the school. Snowboarding/skiing up in Tahoe and surfing in LA. Hiking in the backtrails of the school and plenty of events during the year hosted by clubs. St. Helena and Calistoga is where students usually go on weekends. There's a Bouchon in Yountville, they have amazing macarons. Hit up Guigni's and Azteca Market for some seriously good eats; these are both located in St. Helena.

The school holds some events for the students to do, such as intramural, bowling nights, ice skating, or movie nights, among other things. Clubs also tend to hold their own events to which any one can attend. There is also tourist attractions nearby to go to, as well as plenty of forested land in the back of the school to go hiking in.

Pacific Union College is in a near perfect location. It is located in the middle of the Napa Valley. It is about an hour from San Francisco, an hour and a half from the ocean, and two hours from Lake Tahoe. Whether you are a city person and would love to spend the day in San Francisco or whether you are an outdoorsy person and would love to spend the day hiking in the woods, PUC is in an ideal location for both. It is also 15 minutes from St. Helena, which has many different options for food, coffee, and ice cream. It also has many different shops and a little movie theater. PUC is about a half an hour from both Lake Barryessa and Napa. PUC also has a very large and esteemed intramural program with a wide variety of sports. And its Student Association often puts on events and banquets to keep the student body entertained. There are many activities on and near campus for students to partake in.
