Apply early in the winter term of your senior year of high school, stay on the admissions and financial aid people to make sure you have all of your information on file and ready once you step on to the campus.

Prospective students should make it a point to explore the area surrounding the campus before making the decision to attend Paine College as well as finding out what on campus activities and organizations are offered; it's always good to know what you can take advantage of during your college career. Also, being that Paine is a private institution, be sure to explore all of your options for scholarships and grants especially through the UNCF website; Paine is an HBCU (historically black college/university) this website offers hundreds of thousands of dollars in funding to students attending HBCU's. Also, a big tip for prospective students, become very well aquainted with your financial advisors in the financial aid office, they will be your best friend when it comes to funding your college career.
