Campus Life

The food isn't always great, so my advice is to get a refridgerator in your room. There are also kitchens in the dorms where you could cook your food if the cafe didn't satisfy your tatste buds. There are also fastfood restaurants walking distance away but have a group walk with you for safety purposes.

Most common fast food restaurants like mcdonalds and wendys are near the school, and walking distance. If you don't have a car you wont really be able to experience all of the other dining restaurants. All of the restaurants like apple bees, chili's, red lobster etc are located downtown Augusta.

The food and dining is terrible because it is sloppy, not fully cook, hard, and sometimes they run out of food. The food is not as good as the price that it is for the meals at Paine College. It really needs to be better because they will lose students and students will transfer from Paine because of the lack of effort they give to help students.

Breakfast at Paine is AWESOME!!! There are so many choices. Lunch is not the best, but Paine makes sure you get all the nutrients you need. You also have the option of going to the Den. A side to the cafeteria that serves hamburgers off the grill and chicken tenders. Dinner is better than lunch, but not always the best.

Food and dining is something that was unexpected. Food is recycled because enough students do not eat the food. Dining could be in a bigger area because when the food is actually good, seats are limited so students are required to sit elsewhere. The food preps do take in precaution towards food allergies or vegetarians while preparing food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The food and dining at Paine College lacks a variety at times. The weekends can be tough for students who stay on-campus. Thankfully, there are a number of fast food restaurants and other options to eat around the area.

There are 8 of the divine 9 Black letter Greek organizations.

Most of the greeks here are the most involved on campus. When you attend a school with greek life try not to tell everyone what you want to be, in case you change your mind no one would know and greeks look down upon that.

Paine Colleges Greek life is very interesting because when you see someone Greek they are always open to hear what you have to say. the Greek's on campus are very friendly and they all get along because they knew each other before they went Greek. the main thing is that they actually make you want to become part of Greek life at an HBCU

The greek life is growing now on campus because everybody is starting to join building more and more, and it is making Paine College be more effective in college.

Greek Life at Paine is live. You will always here some kind of call being said during all times of the day. When its the weekend, there will be battles on the yard. Those are fun to watch.

Greek life has its ups and downs. The greeks do not get along with each other causing them to not participate in opposite sorority or fraternity events. There are no specific greek stones on campus or evidence that there are certain greeks at Paine College. Greek events may be unorganized or uneventful due to lack of participation or lack of requisition placed.

A decent number of Greek fraternities and sororities are available for pledging at Paine College.

the greeks played a big role on campus. they stayed active which i enjoyed, there was always something they had going whether it was community based, campus based or simply a party or mixer.
