    i actually will be living in a apartment. the campus doesn't have any dorms.

    Campus Safety

    I feel very safe on campus.

    Clubs and Activities

    Numerous clubs on campus, there is a club for just about every activity you can think of. If there isn't, start one!

    Great for these types of students

    Passionate and dedicated. Curriculum is very challenging.

    Bang for the buck

    Price is comparable to other graduate schools, but the experience and Palmer pride is unmatched!

    What to do for fun

    A few good sports bars downtown, urban exploring, a lot of history all around campus to learn about and explore.

    Food and Dining

    Plenty of restaurants in davenport.

    Dorm Life

    There are no dorms, but there is plenty of housing available around campus for palmer students. Visit the housing network at palmer.edu

    Academic Rigor

    Tough curriculum, but everything is pertinent to the chiropractic profession.

    Go to campus events, get involved, and stay on top of your studies.

    Palmer is the oldest, biggest, and best chiropractic school in the world. So much history, that influences the practice and philosophy of chiropractic. Palmer pride.

    Campus security is available 24/7 and have offices in west hall

    Greek Life

    A couple fraternities and a sorority. Great for like minded professional people

    Clubs and Activities

    Activator, Palmer gonstead, motion palpation, student council

    Great for these types of students

    Hard working, professional and committed to an alternative style of health care

    Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus

    N8k and the bix 6 are two sponsored runs

    Bang for the buck

    Tuition can be quite extensive, however it is a professional institution hence the high cost

    What to do for fun

    Check out new things that happen in the village. Rave cinemas is also a great location to catch up on new movie releases

    Dining at Palmer is awesome. They have a professional chef who provides a delicious array of food options

    No dorm life is offered however there are numerous off campus apartments available through the school

    The first couple tris are very demanding, take advantage of the pass tutorials

    Campus Safety

    Campus is very safe, however there are a few sketchy neighborhoods in the surrounding area. Similar sketchiness to many city neighborhoods.

    Clubs and Activities

    There are several clubs on campus, including technique clubs, Radiology club, professional clubs, and fun clubs such as Boardgames Club.

    What to do for fun

    For the partying type, there are several bars downtown Davenport, only a few blocks from campus. There are parks and trails all over Davenport for the active, outdoors type of people. Many cultural museums and businesses are all over Davenport. The Davenport Farmers Market is year round and a great place to go for fresh produce and good company.

    There is a cafeteria and a Starbucks on campus. The Veterans Club also offers food and beverages in their office.

    Dorm Life

    There are no dormitories at Palmer, although the college owns a few apartment complexes near campus. Most people live off campus.

    Academic Rigor

    28-34 credit hours per trimester. In the first year of study you take intensive coursework in gross anatomy, human physiology, neuroanatomy and neurophysiology, and beginning technique courses. The second year brings many of the intensive technique courses and intro to clinical courses. In the third year, the majority of the coursework is as an intern in the Palmer Clinics.

    Get involved with as many clubs, campus activities, and extracurricular seminars as you can while you are a student.

    Palmer is a great college to become a superb chiropractor. It is the leader in chiropractic education. The coursework is vigorous and Palmer students excel in the NBC Exams.
