Categories Comments Campus Safety I've never felt unsafe on this campus. The campus police are very friendly and accessible, and they patrol frequently.
Clubs and Activities Panola has tons of different clubs, from an outdoor club to an anime club to religious clubs. Their sports teams are also nice.
Food and Dining Panola has decent food. They offer a variety of things and the main cafeteria is buffet-style and very affordable. It never gets boring and there's options for every diet. There is also a small cafe and a grill on the campus too.
Dorm Life I do not live on campus, but Panola College does have dorms, which seems unusual for a community college. From the few times I've visited friends of mine who live in dorms, they appear to be nice and pretty affordable (and of course, less than a fourth of a mile from any class!)
Academic Rigor Some of the courses can be difficult, and I wouldn't recommend taking one of the math or science classes online unless you have a good background in that subject or want a good challenge. The professors are understanding though, and will usually work with you to help you get the grade you need. I believe the classes on campus are the best choice, as they allow you the most room to grow and develop a better relationship with other students to help study and prepare.
Tips for prospective students Don't be afraid to ask questions and ask for help while applying! The staff in the financial aid office and the student success center are so very helpful and will work with you through any challenges you may have with paperwork and securing the funds you need. Also, do not neglect the library. It is a wonderful place to study and the other students there can serve as a great resource.
In three sentences This college is an excellent institution, and the faculty and staff have been very helpful with enabling me to reach my goals. The class sizes are small and the professors are very attentive and give as much one on one time outside of the classroom as you need. Going to school here truly makes you feel like part of a family, because they do their best to include students in activities and ensure they succeed.

In three sentences I have enjoyed going to this school. There are some great caring teachers. Online classes are user friendly.

Great for these types of students Panola College is great for students that like small schools.
What to do for fun The student government plans activities for the students all year.
Tips for prospective students Be prepared to eat out a lot.
In three sentences Panola College is very affordable and I feel safe here because there is a police station on campus. The faculty and staff are very nice. My learning experience here has been pleasant.
