    Great college for people who cannot afford University prices. Friendly, helpful staff and small classes make it a great place to learn. Unfortunately, many of the students can be bothersome (inconsiderately loud and distracting).

    The Dental Hygiene department is very organized and the instructors are very helpful. The school is currently under construction to make great improvements and offer more opportunity for their students. So far I have great interactions with this school.

    Parkland Dual Credit classes are more interesting than high school classes. Parkland instructors know their subject and understand their students. Parkland College is a great place to begin college.

    Parkland can be a great stepping stone for those who think they might want to pursue higher education, those who feel they just aren't ready for a 4 year university, and for those who want to get a 2 year degree. Parkland has a very friendly staff and lots of opportunities to improve in academics. The best thing Parkland has to offer is small classrooms with an opportunity to get to know one's professors and make connections.

    I think that Parkland is a great place to start off for college. It allows you to start your general studies for what program that you choose. In my opinion it gets you ready for the next step if you are planning on transferring to another school.
