Parkland is a great school for students who live in district 505 or who are planning to transfer to the University of Illinois. You will spend much less than if you started at a 4 year university, your courses will be more in depth in most cases or you will learn the material better because the teacher has time to go over individual students' questions, and you still have access to the campus life of both schools.
