Around Town

There are plenty of clubs based around video games, there are bowling, poker, and game nights. The busses take you to the local mall and movie theaters, and there are a TON of great restaurants in the area.

Around campus i like to go to the gym and play basketball. Since it is in the mountains we get a lot of snow, so it is nice to go sledding on the nittany point hill. Then when the weather warms up I would go play football or soccer on the turf field.

There are numerous clubs and organizations to get involved in, and there are several restaurants to attend.

I found out about Zumba classes that are offered almost daily and I will be attending many of these! There's plenty of activities, shops, and attractions in Altoona and buses to drive you to all of them as well if the campus doesn't have what you want.

There's always something to do here to fit everyone's interests!

I am a mother of 3 teen age children. My two sons will be in college this year. If I am not running with one of them or all, I enjoy reading in a quite room or horseback riding. Most of the time I am with my children. I was blessed with 3 great kids.

Not much there are parties here and there. Hang out with friends. There are many organizations that you can join.

There are events on campus weekly. Whether it be a free movie showing, a free comedian or other entertainment group, a bingo night, or a night with free pizza, campus life is definitely never dull.

There are emails sent out almost daily about movies, plays, games, bingo, and clubs that a student can participate in. There is a bus stop on campus so students can go off campus to Altoona and go bowling, or shopping.
