PSU Hazleton allowed me the privilege of being far from home. However, Hazleton, PA is not really a college town so your options of finding things to do for entertainment are limited unless you have car. On the bright side because it's a smaller campus, you really to get to know your professors on a closer level. The small campus really creates a family feel you get to know everybody on campus, shy or not. read full review

Although Penn State Hazleton is small in comparison to the main campus, or the bigger campuses it, does have its benefits. Being that it is a smaller campus, you can easily get exceptional one on one attention in classes and with administration on the campus. Faculty and staff here are very helpful and make themselves openly available to students because they understand hardships students face when they do not understand something or cannot complete a task as quickly as others can. There is an abundance of students and activities on and off campus and luckily Penn State Hazleton offers special free events throughout each semester. Overall, I enjoy this campus and its environment and am excited to transfer to Penn State's main campus in 2012. read full review
