Around Town

Student life is awesome! We do cool stuff all the time, and it's a great way to make friends!

There are a lot of things to do in free time around campus. You can join a sports team or a club if you have a lot of time. Every Friday at 8 pm there are campus-wide games in the athletic center, and during Common Hour quite often there are bands or comedians that come in to entertain. Similarly, every year Penn State New Ken chooses a country of focus and sends interested students there on spring break. For example, this year, the country of focus was Ireland, so there are Irish-themed events throughout the year leading up to the date when students make the one week trip to Ireland.

I play soccer and just signed up for flag football.

The school CAB club is always planning fun events and concerts that happen on weekends, and they have different themed weeks for the students to take part in. Not only is it fun, but its a great way to also meet new people.
