    If you're close enough, take advantage of the campus tour. Prospective students who have been accepted to the University can also shadow current students for a day, to get a better feel for what life at PhilaU is like.

    Be 100% certain that you want one of the degrees PhilaU offers. As a private school with approximately 3,000 students, PhilaU doesn't offer a wide range of degrees. Many of my classmates from freshman year had to transfer after one semester because they decided to go with a different route that wasn't available here.
