On campus, the Kanbar Campus Center is a good place to hang out. They have pool tables as well as a ping-pong table, which students can use by asking at the Information Desk. A few gaming consoles are also available to rent out and use in the Kanbar Performance Space. The Student Activities Board puts on a lot of events, too, which are always a lot of fun. As for off campus, well, it's Philly! There's plenty to do.

There's always events on campus, which is good because there aren't a lot of things to do in the immediate vicinity of the school (East Falls neighborhood). There's pretty much no stores or fun things to do within walking distance of the school, but it's easy to catch the train or bus into center city and the Kanbar Information Desk sells bus tokens for a decent price.

Because of the easy access to public transportation and being within city limits, there are an unlimited number of things to do. Of course there are the parties but you can also go to museums, plays, shows, sporting venues and much, much more!

The party scene at this school is not that great unless you're an athlete. It's best to go into the city of Philadelphia to have fun, which is not a problem considering it is only a short bus ride away and there is plenty to do while you're there.

While Philadelphia University is not located in the beloved historic urban side of town it is just one short bus ride away. On my free time, I often went on board the SEPTA bus go into the city. In the city, there are various places to see and things to do. Having completed freshman year with this past academic year, I found the Reading Terminal Market to be the perfect place to feed the hungry Freshman 15 monster. Here, you can find foods ranging from barbecue to Indian cuisine as well as dessert ranging from fudge to ice cream. As the girl that I am shopping came easily to be the next activity of leisure. Whether it be for personal fashion or interior design course supplies, Center City Philadelphia had it all. If I was not satisfied with the fashion that Center City had to offer then the King of Prussia Mall, the second largest mall in the nation, was another bus ride away. At the Kanbar Information Kiosk SEPTA tokens are sold for $1.55 per token, which is 45 cents from the regular $2 travel fare. Since getting to and from Center City requires two tokens, then a total of 90 cents is saved for each trip. As an interior design major, those 90 cents really become beneficial as accumulated.

Most people take the East Falls train straight to Temple, Drexel, or Penn for parties. There are no parties on the PhilaU campus. There are also a few good night clubs in the city.

You can go to Kanber Campus Center. You can go to the gym in the Gallagher Center. You can hang out in the large sitting area in front of the dorms.
